Yet another night of Rockstars!

-Cannonball, Cabernet Sauvignon, California, 2006
-L'Escrime, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa, 2001
-Wall Cellars, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa, 2006
-El Felino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza, Argentina, 2007
-Sparrow Hawk, Cabernet Sauvignon, Oak Knoll, Napa, 2005
-Blankiet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Paradise Hills, Napa, 2005
This is near perfect. The wine is super polished, not a single flaw and just pure velvet on the palate. Love it, but not enough rawness to keep me interested.

-Lillian, Syrah, White Hawk, Santa Barbara, 2005
This was the WOTN for me. Exotic, roasted meat, lavendar, and tons of purity. Just a raw and exciting beast of a wine, but on a leash and perfectly tailored. Get some!

-Kuleto, Zinfandel, Napa, 2007
A good Zin, but I'm not a Zin lover, and this didn't wine me over. I'm sure plenty of people would love it.

-Cliff Lede, Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Helena, Napa, 2006
This is my second Cliff Lede in the past few months, and once again, I'm super impressed. The wine was a pure delight and has all the things that I love in Napa Cabernet including a sense of place and singularity. I'll beging carrying this soon.

-Delectus, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa, 1996
This was a true treat. The wine was perfectly aged, although will certainly continue to hold for another 5+ years easily. It was slight scorched red fruit quality and just a touch of cedar box. It was also showing cinnamon and potpourri. Delicious and delightful.
