On the docket for tonight . . .

Chateau Margaux, Pavillion Blanc, 2002 (delicious, appropriately aged, medium weight, nice citrus and lemon grass, perfect with Chevre)
Domaine Tempier, Bandol, 1993 (suprisingly good for an off-vintage in Bandol. The wine was begining to show age but still had a ton of life left in it. The original price tag was still on it, $17.99)
Sea Smoke, Pinot Noir "Botella", Sta. Rita Hills, 2005 (This is at a great place right now. I'd not open another for 2 more years. It's begining to flesh out, but still has some unpacking to do)

All in all, a great night of wine appropriately paired with Asparagus Bisque, Spinach Salad, and Salmon.
